The ONLY purpose of the survey is to tout “EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT “ which is then used to rate the company as a top place to work. Go google search. All the companies do this and that is the SOLE purpose.

@cc The FAQ literally describes the survey as "confidential".

It's just a way for Directors and above to form committees to make it look like they actually do something. They get to waste time on useless action plans that are designed but never implemented.

Survey is a waste of time. These id--ts live in an echo chamber and will simply skew the results to support their incompetence.

Chuck gets his bonus. That’s it.
That’s all.

Once, pre-CS, we tanked our results because we all wanted 4x10 shifts. There was no reason to say no in that role, but manager wouldn't approve the shift change. Within a week of the results coming out, we had 4x10 shifts.

I don't think they make a difference these days.

Surveys don't have any impacts anything substantial. If multiple people voice their opinions about better wages or the cost if insurance, crickets. If it's something mundane like the bathrooms should have hand sanitizer, they'll oblige. Then post on team works " your opinion counts! We put hand sanitizer in all the bathrooms!" ):

LOL… Why do people believe the survey is confidential? It has always said anonymous, not confidential.

@a4 I believe the is anonymous not confidential. Management reviews them but unable to directly tie back to an individual unless your commentary can id you. Recommend using facts and remove emotion in open text.

They only care about participation numbers and forcing you to jump through their hoops. The same 3-5 issues repeat every year and nothing has been done to fix them.

I voiced my opinions one year, after which they hired an incompetent manager, gave me my first IM, received no raise, and they increased my workload. Made me feel heard alright! Loud and clear.

Haven't participated in the survey for tears. It's not like it changes anything.
