Layoff now. Layoff later. Layoff again. Outsource. Layoff again. Hire new unsuspecting sheeple, use them up, sp-t them out. Lay off again. Layoffs=winning.

@a4 how can Nike survive WITHOUT laying off more people?

Nike’s market position isn’t what it was even just a few years ago. And unlike with previous down cycles, this cycle represents more of an existential crisis for the company. What reliably worked in the past isn’t reliability working anymore.

Nike can’t continue to hire and keep staff as if there hasn’t been a very substantial change in the company’s outlook. I fully expect that annual layoffs will be the new norm.
