Way too many good ones on our already thin team. Devastating.
Good people every round.
Many times, Directors and Sr Directors don't know who on their team is going or staying. Our Sr Director and Director had no idea. This is the way is is structured to prevent info leaks. Consulting firms and spreadsheets are where the decisions are made.
Not based on facts but experience says…. bigger teams are often targeted. Especially teams where the employees do the same work.
It’s probably just an easier thing for “mgmt" to cut those 6 out of that team of 10 than it is to get rid of “Fred” who is the only one that does “the thing”.
Oh thinking more… sigh. It might also be something that ITC already offers in it’s “service catalog”. Super eye roll at ITC
So far, this re-org has been highly targeted at both specific teams and people within those teams. There has been very few outliers outside the main groups, though maybe those are coming tomorrow.
Lost a lot of good people this time around. I am not sure where we are going. What does it mean where cuts happened across from Directors, Sr. Mgrs, PEs and Leads of the same team/org?
