Verizon has (Never) in its' history done a layoff in June.
Normally, a Verizon layoff happens each year during April, and/or October.
If it does (actually) happen, May 7th would be the date; mentioned in the other post.

I like the "Interestingly enough, Verizon says there are more than 1,000 job listings on its website", yet 30% are in Hyderabad or are management positions.
I was laid off June 30, 2023 and I wasn’t the only one. So much for Verizon never doing layoffs in June
But we are soo important. Us burned out souls definitely help delight the customer. This is the way.....

Usually April, and/or October each year; with (some) years having (no) layoffs (in the past).
Personally, I have (Survived) a total of 7 layoffs over time; that is how I know this.
The June date is (Total) garbage.
If it (actually) happens in place of the (normal) April, it will happen May 7th; or not at all.
I believe it’s the day people start rolling off, not an actual June layoff.
Its way too soon. Sure if you are in sales, you might worry. But you also need to know you don't have near the importance you think you do. Almost irrelevant. The network is still adjusting. Ai comes fast, but not fast enough. A layoff now, and the network will stop working in 6 months.

They are doing layoffs in June.
