Sigh....
No.
If they can find someone to do your job for less, they will.

If someone's brother in law needs his mortgage paid...
If your unit is redundant...
If you are paid too much too do too little
If your skillset is not up to par for today's marketplace..

Must be Spring...or Summer or Fall or Winter with someone asking about layoffs.

Give it up. 200,000 plus people and business changes over time. Some come and some go.

Just for our sake would you go!

As you already know, greed has no end. It never stops. If layoffs are providing short term benefits to corporate, they will keep doing it.

Keep posting silly questions like these and the spammers who don't/haven't worked there in years will continue posting fake internal memos to strike the fear of God into poor souls scouring this forum.

No job is safe from layoffs....from the CEO down to the service crew. No job, no company is safe. Its just the nature of the world we live in.

Until the President of the company signs a no-job-elimination pledge, and outlines that layoffs will not be made in the best interests of CVS, we should understand that job elimination is very much part of, and will remain a major part of the business model in place.
