Branch Banking Future: If there ever was a more appropriate misnomer than “Branch Banking Future” I have yet to see it. News Flash: Bank Branches have about as much of a future as Bank Employees! Hasn’t anyone been keeping up with current affairs? Employees and Branches are both going to the archives the same way that Horse Buggies and Whips did many years ago. Thank you Artificial Intelligence! Let words to the wise suffice here: The American job market will never be the same again. I just feel sorry for the team members who have braindead sheep managers who can't wait to sit on cloudcord and ruin your life week after week with this new we-pon against you.

I visit the bank on Saturdays to check my safe deposit box and ensure my Gold is still there.

Its the banking equivalent of Walmart being open overnight. Only get the weirdo customers, the only people working are new and clueless and there probably aren't enough of those employees to staff the place properly at that time anyway. So whats the point again?

The 2 pm thing was an absolute joke last Saturday. We had one person come in and it was a guy I setup an appointment with. They just did that because they didn’t wanna keep paying out tens of thousands of facility option hours each week which I do understand. I think in general though Saturday banking needs to go. It’s generally filled with unprofitable customers that day and no real business actually happens on Saturdays.
