@OP o.g same. What a horrible, stressful, rare weekend off. I want to get laid off so badly,
@bb they could wait until after next week to send the event invite, at least that....these things aren't that hard to figure out....hmm...let's see, let's do a wfh week, do a huge layoff, oh and wait, right before we send the wfh email, let's invite everyone to a phk fun day!

don't have to cancel the event, but have some dignity and wait a couple weeks from now before advertising it

@b1 I understand the sentiment. But these are the people we worked with. It is not their fault in how things went down. So, show them some grace
Last time they let people party then axed them
No good way to do it short of canceling the event
enough is enough
for those left, they can go to the phk party after, what is up with that timing, celebrate making the cut?
