GRE doesn’t really clean any location anymore.
@bw a lot of them can't move just cus of how big they are from sitting all day!!!!
Corporate finance is facing major changes because much of the work fits perfectly with what artificial intelligence already does well. Most days are spent gathering numbers, checking for patterns, preparing forecasts, and creating reports for leaders. These tasks are clear, repeatable, and follow set rules, which makes them easy for technology to handle. New tools can now create reports, update slides, and analyze large sets of information in seconds, which reduces the need for large teams doing the same work by hand.
Leaders in finance are also under pressure to cut costs, speed up monthly reporting, and improve accuracy, and artificial intelligence helps with all of those goals. As a result, many companies are starting to rely more on technology and less on large groups of analysts. This shift does not replace the need for judgment or leadership, but it does change how much human labor is needed to support the financial side of the business.
Finance employees are paid the least and do a lot of work...and they are always forced to be 100% compliant with any company policy.
Most L3s are pushing paper, making intricate graphics, sending long emails and calling redundant two hour meetings!!
A lot of them cannot move because they have to support the old system that has not been transitioned to Dallas yet.
bigger question is why they haven't been forced to relocate to a hub city!!
some are working out of a C and E garage meant for technicians because they don't want to move!!!
Offer a package! We will take it!
Finance never gets he perks. They have been the first to really embrace the hubs and FTW actions. Even with ATL as a HUB, they are moving all the work to Dallas.
