If you are a contractor and your contract is not being renewed or terminated early, it’s not a layoff. You were in temporary employment.

I think the 1400 number is FTE. But last year a lot of contractors were obliterated from their jobs together with the Fates, so I'm guessing this year will be the same. Not that I want this to happen

The 1400 number doesn't include impacts to ETWs. Nike only reports RIF numbers for FTEs.

The “T” in ETW stands for Temporary.

@a3 they usually do that not to have people learning about teammates losing jobs. Nike HR won’t be calling you, however, your management company may in the coming weeks. At least this is how it was done in the past.

Some ETWs had their FTE completely wiped out. They were told to document what they had and then their contract ended about 2 or 3 weeks later.
