We’re all getting hit with the same weekly barrage. This isn’t shared responsibility, they’re offloading theirs onto us. The nonstop AI push is conditioning so no one pushes back when the PIPs start, because PIPs are cheaper than severances. Meanwhile ROI looks great and the shareholder buybacks keep flowing, so leadership acts like everything is fine. As long as the numbers stay green, the people doing the work don’t matter.

@w6 blame it on Pappy and The General
Same bullsh-t, different buzzwords
I don’t think it’s really if the AI will work it’s more if the c suite thinks they can fire more on shore employees due it. Then they will. Whether or not the AI actually works is irrelevant.
I've seen some of the off the shelf solutions Met has purchased. Let's just say, I am not too worried about it taking over my job anytime soon. I have also seen demos of the expensive and useful off the shelf solutions and, how quickly Met said no. 😂
@ah Meh. True, there isn't much in-house AI - but Met will pay for off-the-shelf solutions.
These can and will reduce employee labor and eventually reduce the number of employees.
Met is cheap, but if the vendor shows, or guarantees savings, they'll go for it.
@ah ask Donna
There is no real AI happening at MetLife. They are too cheap to pay for it. It's all window dressing, just like their DEI indoctrination that mysteriously went away. They are experts at spewing the latest and greatest buzzwords. No real meaning or intentions behind them. When's the next Inclusion Begins With Me podcast???? LOL
