We’ve not only been ask to train AI, but our offshore replacements. 🧐 fully knowing we have a permanent end date. Doesn’t sit well with me to share 20+ years of knowledge and get kicked out the door.

Block offshoring- limit AI usage protect US jobs...in 10 years if not, we will HAVE to have universal basic income, and the country will decay into a communistic environment of low income "just getting by" subsidies

Ask yourself this

If AI was such an amazing cost saving productivity boost then why is Sabre, and many other companies, still outsourcing to cheaper offshoring countries like Poland and India so they can use AI instead of US companies just using AI directly?

Wouldn't US companies just skip the outsourced offshore human middlemen and use the AI directly to achieve even more cost savings?

If AI ever really becomes a viable real cost saving productivity boost then cheap offshoring countries like Poland and India will experience massive layoffs because their labor won't be needed anymore.

Unfortunately for US labor, AI currently is not a viable cost saving nor productivity boost, and might never be.

The next question to ask yourself:

Will Trump restrict offshoring to bring US jobs back to the US once people start realizing that the tariffs haven't done so?

There's a chance Trump might, his main oligarchy tech bro supporters are very pro US AI. That would be disastrous for cheap offshoring countries like Poland and India. Trump has already pretty much eliminated H1B workers in the US to force US companies to hire US workers. The other side of that coin is blocking offshoring.

@k2 give it a year and the AI nonsense will be finished. They cannot avoid people realizing its an accounting scam forever.
