Bratislava.
Def this one:
“it would boggle our brains to allow flexibility to work from home.”
It’s actually more that telecommuting was so widely abused.
Rent, don’t buy. If you were asked to relocate then you have been targeted for surplus. Better to use your time looking for work where you are than move and be left stranded in a new city without a job at AT&T within 6 months.
“Offers low commute”. Lol.
We don’t even pretend leadership cares about our commute since we only sell technology to customers and it would boggle our brains to allow flexibility to work from home.
Bloomington Minnesota is the best for learing opportunities.
Hyderabad.
Since anyway you plan to move i say dallas is best bet. Commute depends on where you live. Make sure you move to place where there is good presence of your org or else 3 of these 4 hubs will go away at some point. After new office in plano I won't be surprised many teams will be asked to move.
Many Cyber people moved to Alpharetta and Dallas. They are all safe and have promotions too. So may be not everybody is gone.
If you’re planning on moving pick Dallas/Plano. Any other hub is subject to change or removal.
There is no safe place! I can’t tell you the number of ppl I have encountered that moved only to be let go afterward. They want you gone, that’s why you were asked to move. If you don’t take the cheese with their first attempt, they will deploy more bait.
what difference does it make? when you're told to move to keep the job, they tell you what hub to go to. you don't get a choice.
Retirement.
None. The culture is toxic. Just do your 8 hours and leave. That’s the only way to get time back for yourself
People with young kids, please respond where you live and how you manage?
