Thread regarding 3M layoffs

Why is is so hard to admit something isn't working?

There are things that clearly aren’t working, but no one says it directly. Instead, we just keep adjusting around them. It feels like everyone sees it, but no one wants to be the one to call it out. So it just continues. Because that's so much better and productive than actually fixing the issue, right?

How many potential rapists do you know that have been protected while victims faced retaliation from reporting to HR?

Pride, ego, and very insecure management (in the IT division).

Okay so, here’s watcha gotta do. When changing to the way it used to be done, yah gotta never say you are going back to the old way. Yah gotta sell it as being all new, and it flies thru every single time. Remember this.

No. I was one of the people who mentioned something is wrong and started doing the right thing which was succeeding. Retaliation comes down as firing and lay off. No longer with Mother Mining. Much better place

Because to admit a mistake would be admitting that our glorious leaders don't know everything and maybe don't always make the best decisions.

And that's just not possible!

It's not about making money; it's about control.
