Hearing 15-18 for managers and 7-9 for directors. Is that real across orgs or only in certain lines?

Those numbers are correct. I have a thread on this, because I think more layoffs are coming.
That would explain the new 'unlimited PTO' for the E14/Directors and above now. They are probably planning to rif huge numbers of mid-level management in 2026. I haven't heard any new direct report number limits yet. There are a lot of states still requiring earned PTO to be paid out in a layoff scenario. Changing to 'unlimited' PTO doesn't apply under those state laws, saving EH a lot of money when riffing middle management. Good luck to everyone in 2026.
Do you really think there is any consistency across this company. You will get the number you get like it or lump it they will say.
