Could Elcio have been more of a condescending a-s? I am just so done with him, he doesn’t listen. He is completely tone deaf. Anyone else?

@ay not laugh at employee questions. When changes are made do it going forward. Distribute accurate RTO reports. That all helps with trust and if you have trust it goes a long way. My opinion.
I witnessed some of the most professional and elegant HR heads. He is reactive and responding with orders based on leadership getting their feelings hurt. They want to be a GSIB but they focus on the wrong things. This is not about RTO. It is about stabilizing your lieutenants and pushing accountability downstream to allow organizational change. She can’t do it. She spouts off demands that are based on one offs and retaliatory measures. She is not fit for this level of leadership. The board sees it. The problem is firing her will ignite market impact. Not going to happen soon as they think mediocrity will get the company to its goals. It is really sc--wed up.
Wow. I didn’t realize this many HR folks were on this forum. You know it has to be bad when so many are frustrated as well.
I think the overall consensus today was that they are incredibly tone deaf. I had a hard time with the laugh, hand toss and “a full day is a full day” comment. 5 years ago we would get that no questions asked. Today we question it because we know in 6 months some number will be used against us as a “we told you so”. He did it today, 11+ days. No! Workday said 11, and our % a month ago was against 11. Not 12, not 13. 11.
@as To put it more accurately, they're replacing 1000 staffers here with offshore workers and if it goes well more replacements will to come. A big chunk of those will be in TOS.
I’m confused as to why his responses were so offensive to you all. How would you like him to say it so that you get onboard?
@aq He did say 1000 jobs are being hired in Chennai India for next year and another 4-6k total after that. He did not specify which Depts, etc are moving there.
Everyone knows he is a tool....not sure why it's surprising when he acts like one
Wait until he sends HR jobs to India. It’s coming.
He LAUGHED at his employees for asking clarifying questions that got up voted. He su-ks.
I just highly doubt that the backend logic requires 8 hours in office to certify an IP connection, especially since the FAQ says that's not factored into reporting right now.
Obviously they can retroactively change the rules, which no one would be surprised by, but there must currently be some timeframe needed to certify an IP connection. Of course we'll never know about it unless someone gives the inside scoop.
@a2 so he said on a call anything under 8 hours doesn’t count? They need to put that in the communications and in the faq if that’s true. I’m so over the micromanaging.
I’m torn on who hates us more - elcio or gunjan?
Bringing back the Elfio nickname!
Any new info?
@a2 Agree 100% and I’m salaried. I don’t have to be in the office, or even work, 8 hours daily. I mean. I do, but it’s the principle. 6 hours is plenty and that’s what I’m sticking with for now.
He is, the fact that we have to be in 8 hours or it doesn't count. That is the full day 8 hours. It's ok to leave earlier once but it should not be a trend. The fact that he called a logic based question spicy is offensive. They are all gaslighters, stating everyone loved the new dashboard. BS! That's how you know he was lying.
