Thread regarding Fidelity National Information Services Inc. layoffs

They're breaking everything

And it'll be a miracle if anything is still functioning in the near future. Some teams have been almost completely destroyed by the recent moves. What's the actual end game here?

@cw In the US, FIS EAP does offer six counseling sessions via TalkSpace. Appointments with a therapist or psychiatrist can be done via audio, audio/video or face to face. It's easy to get an appointment quickly, these are available for family members too. Saturday appointments are available.

@cr Fu-k the C-suite, who cares about them? Those are selfish millionaires.

@c1 this is an extremely stressful time for those affected. Mental health care is not readily available or easily affordable, especially with the lackluster benefits that this traitorous company. Everyone needs an outlet for their frustrations.

@c1 seriously as a what? This is a public site, the public is using it. Perhaps not in a manner that you approve of, but you are not the moderator here. The choices made by the FIS executives are affecting employees, current, former and about to be former (no new news, just the trend) daily. These employees are making big decisions about the futures of their families. That is a valid discussion even if you don't want to have it. If you want to yell at the kids to stay off your lawn, do it from your own porch.

@bp that's the part that the C suite just doesn't get.

I think there is one person who is responsible for most of the posts on here. A day goes by with no valid activity related to things happening within FIS and he or she posts rubbish just to stir up a conversation. It makes this site very hard to take seriously.

@a4 you know what is sad about you? Your ridiculous assumptions, your arrogance, your projection about this site. Is this how you manifest your fear?

It’s another day, and the general practitioner philosopher is at it again.
