Curious if anybody else works on the weekend and isn't seeing it reflected in the time tracking. I don't work weekends regularly, but need to be in the office for certain software changes/deployments. I've, with my managers acknowledgement, treated this as part of my RTO days, but now I'm out 2-3 days what was previously shown.

@be I hear you. That is why I posted my message here and under another thread. Honestly -most of what you read are people complaining. Just giving food for thought. I don’t see it changing anytime soon.
@ap I hadn’t thought about what would happen if I took an early call from car or late call from home. TY
@aq There is so many questions in all the threads. Most seem to be half truths or made up things. Each person will need to decide how they will manage themselves, their time.
@ar I agree. It seems to be coming down to this. So sad.
I’ve kind of been thinking the same thing / no sense jumping on calls if I’m not in the office. I looked everywhere for how we would have to prove if on calls and could not find anything. Too many holes and I am worried what next retroactive thing will be done. I don’t like it but I will start being more concious of how I work and where.
That is beyond insane, but that is the logical result of insane policies that serve no constructive purpose.
@ap Then no more flexibility on our availability either. I’m available 8.0 hours per weekday and never on weekends or late nights to meet difficult deadlines. That is a huge change compared to how I’ve worked here for the last decade. It’s a 2 way street and the bank is being short sighted and creating a culture of meeting minimum standards.
@ap get out of here. Copy pasta in every thread.
As stands - you are required to be in office 60 percent of business days. Weekends do not count. You are being monitored for compliance with an IPAddress at USB location. This means that you do not get IP credit if you attend meetings on the way to or from the office from your car. Think about this - how does it make sense to schedule or attend calls unless you get IP credit. You may be able to get around this but will more than likely have to provide some kind of proof you were in a call, how long etc. there has been no guidance in how to do this. Personally get to the office, sign in so tracking begins with IP address and schedule your day accordingly. No more flexibility for taking early or late calls to get work done. It’s that simple.
Man that's totally unfair if you're required to be there but don't get credit for it. So unreasonable.
Weekends do not count as in office collaborative workdays. I know because I did not get credit and was told this, don’t count on weekends to make your numbers
So I can't just drop my laptop off at auschwitz friday evening and pick it up monday morning?
That's annoying.
Does this mean there are certain business hours that count for tracking? Does anyone know?
