When do the layoff meeting requests start coming in? I'm hoping today is the day!

They sent us an email meeting 2 hours beforehand. (Then put it off an hour) for 10 am. We already knew what it was for. So we basically stopped working. We made our rounds saying good bye to everyone in the building. We were relieved. We all piled out of the building handing in our badges to security who wished us all good luck and went home. Pretty anticlimactic.
They are laying off every day nowadays . They laid off/ fire d more than 500 last week. Don't wish for layoff . It could result in firing. More terminated recently.They spent $612 million in Q1. They are not stupid to spend more on severance. Efficiency ratio is 67 compared to 64. Management strategies change every quarter.
