I cannot find the original post but I remember seeing one of the posts saying 50% of Houston personnel will be retirement age in 10 years. What’s the source of that information? Is it true?

That’s prob close to being true. A late thirty something to 45 year old would’ve graduated college after 9-11 or during the 2008 financial crisis. Younger than that when hiring ramped back would’ve been more likely bailed during the COVID and the changes that came after. Lotta churn at lower and mid career with ppl on the back slide hanging on for what still is a sweet retirement package. Sad that it’s hard to build a technical bench.
