Let's help the ELT enter their goals!

Since they are all so busy, they may be worried about getting their goals in by the 15th. Let's share some ideas here! I'll start: AC remove the defacto hiring freeze, stop the gaslighting, and then just go home!

@34a let’s be honest. The ELT is not filled with the best qualified people for the positions. It’s filled with people who fit the CF narrative they want the public to see. This place has become a joke of a company to members and providers and the only people still cheering on are the ELT themselves and the people who are benefiting from the money this place shells out for ‘community support’. Oddly the people who they are supporting are not the people who have a stake in the game. May the odds be in your favor

Here is a suggestion for them.

Goal: Actually do your job.
Tell your teams what you want to see, and work with your peers and your own boss to make sure other teams actually work with them to get stuff done.

I am SOOOOOOO tired of every single team operating as a separate thing. When we have something that is critical (as in, we have a legal government mandate to do something), and relies on other teams, they all just act like it's not their issue. All because the senior/executive leadership doesn't do anything. At every other company I've worked at, they'd get reamed by a VP. At Carefirst? Crickets...

At least they probably have goals. I’m stuck with a director that hides all day like bin laden in a cave and a manager that at most barely knows the names of her team. We don’t have goals yet over here. AI definitely would be better option than what we’ve been left with.

How is there a "hiring freeze" and yet we have several "new" jobs posted on our careers page? It's almost like the "voluntary" retirement was just an excuse to hire younger, cheaper people... SMH

Utilize AI to effect a 50% reduction in executive (director and above) headcount and corresponding personnel costs.

Utilize AI to effect an 80% reduction in all areas of consulting and contracting services that have deliverables in the form of executive advising, business strategy, HR, and organizational structure and development.
