Incentives to stay is terrible. Oracle pays us below market and doesn’t guarantee job security. So what’s the point

Why stay?
Try sh-t job market, thousands of others looking for work, and unless you're living in your parents' basement, you need to keep a roof over your head and food on the table. Not that you have to break your butt working there, but hold on to that job for dear life until you find something else, THEN bail.
Just be smart about it.
OP, where do you get a job that guarantees job security? The job market is changing and the sooner you realize this the better you can plan for it. The only guarantees in life are death and taxes.
Right, do not waste your tume and energy there as one day you will be the next to cut.
In 8 years I had 1 salary increase, which didn’t even cover inflation for that year! I’m glad d I left a year ago (retired early), but if I’d stayed on I would be praying to get the layoff!
Remote work is the only thing keeping me here. Once that's gone, I'm out.
