I was hired for a mid level position. They were going to pay me twice as much as my previous job so it was hard to say 'no". I went thru 2 months of training and then was supposed to work with a mentor(where the real learning happens)..just a mere 3 days after my training I was let go due to "concerns you arent ready for the mentor stage yet". I relocated hundreds of miles away for nothing! Just a completely stone hearded bunch of invididuals.

Wow, the irony of the replies on this text - sounds like one of these individuals writing here could be a 'stone-hearted' person responsible for letting you go. I'm very sorry that happened - please don't allow a bunch of cruel people within this company get you down. Maybe it was a blessing.
Training???? Who the H gets training in this company? I have never seen/heard of any mid-level manager getting training and it is soooo obvious when you report to them. Did the company pay for your relocation when you hired on? Were you a DEI hire? If you were, you could probably sue and get some compensation.
It is "stone-hearted" and not "stone hearded."
I am wondering if you just were not a good fit for the role.
