I couldn't be any more overloaded than I am right now. Even if I was adequately paid for all this work, I would intend to leave because health has no price. I would like to know how much more work you are doing now compared to the period of say a year ago?

OMG did I hear victim? Did you say victim? Get back to work, better yet, get back to work in parallel you victim L blocker before I make a HIPAC donation and get another H1B visa approved in short order!
I have a massive amount of work ahead of me in the new year, I am not sure how it will get done. We've lost so many experienced people. We have a some newbs but its going to take years for them to be as productive as some of those that left.
They have been used to me pulling a rabbit out of the hat on every project by working my a*s off. I will work hard but not sure I feel as responsible to do so as I have in the past.
It is not my local managers fault, he's as much a victim of the poor leadership as I am.
You can survive Honeywell and get mediocre raises promotions by working 1 or 2 hours a day. The rest you spend making urself rich either by investing or a side hustle. I did it for 50 years and collecting a big fat pension. You first before them.
I still do extreme hours at times to support my department and supervisor. However, when I'm past that point, it's all video games and YouTube. I can do all of the work that I need to do in a couple of hours a day. I have no enthusiasm for anything Honeywell. There is a device in my home that has the Honeywell name and it is taped over. I drive by a Honeywell office and the bird is prominently displayed. This such a poor company with no hope of salvation.
The death spiral began I kept on accepting more work, and taking on more responsibilities. At one point I was a manager for 40 engineers in the US plus more global dotted line reports. I was working 50 to 60 hours week for over 2 decades. Then the light bulb finally came on. No more. I stopped taking on more responsibility and as the previous replies stated, with justification. I have been working ~40, 41 hours per week for a few years now. Much better. This is how it should be as our life/family outside of work is more important. Ignore the noise, plan accordingly with realistical schedule plus risk. I am still a block 2 making my commitments
And always readied for outside opportunities as they are abundant.
This place is going down in flame... happy new year
@OP - you are not alone. Do your best, but realize it is only a job and it should not damage your health. Support your team where you can. Communicate what will not get done within reason and why. They can ask us to do more, but it is up to each to decide how much more to give. It is also incumbent on all of us to keep up our skills and maintain ability to be employable outside of being a HoneyCog. If you have not done so, I hope you will get started ASAP (it is a great stress reduction not feeling dependent on one company for employment).
Your manager is merely the local face of the company doing what they are told - to try to get more out of less, and boost EEI or whatever is the metric acronym of the day.
Good luck!
