Thread regarding USAA layoffs

Which VPs were just laid off ?

Any idea if the VPs were laid off if they will cut into their staff?

USAA isn't especially unique in that regard. That's how the executive revolving door works at every company except for the handful of "elite" companies that create the parasitic execs in the first place. That is the BB IBs and the top 3 MC firms (MBB). And then B-tier Accenture gets an honorable mention for creating garbage leaders you can't ever seem to escape. Even though they don't do real strategy, just less cool but bigger volume ops work. "You know who would be a great leader to help fix this cr-ppy system we just massively overpaid for? How about the person who presented the powerpoints for the company that sold it to us?"

Can’t name actual real names or the post gets removed.

But the positions were CISO, VP, VP, and ED within the Technology org. New guy is cleaning house, which is really really refreshing.

About impacts, 100 %! We can safety bet that other executives under those already fired execs will happen as new guy will see the incompetence we have with in the leadership team.

Laid off is a cute word for “provided golden parachutes after destroying our company with their incompetence”
