Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

How can they expect me to RTO if I can't trust the data?

What kind of company changes rules and then publishes bad data based on those changes? If I can't trust the data now then why should I trust it next month?

@h5 edit to my own post. I take a screen shot of that WiFi connection evidence and am compiling a file with all the images. Basically a manual time clock punch in and out.

@bs that’s what I’m doing. I click in the WiFi icon on the lower right corner of the screen so it shows what network I’m connected to and include the time and date which is also in that corner. I do that twice a day, when I log in and log out. Exactly 8 hours and 1 minute so there’s no way they can round it down to anything less than a full day. At end of month I’m creating a file that includes all the screenshots and my excel tracker. If the RTO report does not exactly match it proves the data is bullsh-t. And I made it known I’m not available for meetings before 8am anymore because I used to take those from home and then get on the road to be in office after early morning meetings but that no longer counts. They supposedly are not using the amount of time connected to IP onsite in the calculation (it’s just a yes/no did you connect that day) but I am 100% certain that later this year the RTO compliance calcs will get retroactively re run and published such we all get knocked out of compliance again just in time for performance evaluations. I have zero doubt this will happen and zero trust in the honesty, integrity, or ethics of Gunjan or Elcio or the MC at large.

Had they rolled this out properly they would have addressed the gaps first. The Chief HR office is a joke. I’d give GK some points if she canned him.

I know of an example where an employee didn't receive their badge until let's say September 2025. The RTO dashboard has them in office the prior month (August 2025). This employee never had a badge until September 2025 lol. All trust is out the window with this dashboard.

You can't. Keep a spreadsheet and take timestamped pictures of your physical attendence. The fools in charge have already shown everyone that the system is faulty and inaccurate. The only one to trust is yourself, but back it all up. This can be a lawsuit when poeple start getting fired for lack of attendence.

They wouldn’t have so much negative sentiment had they just done it for going forward. The fact that they are making it retroactive is horrendous and unethical. I’m not getting days that counted before. Not because I was coffee badging but because I badged in and had full day meetings onsite using the building WiFi.
