In my 1/1 earlier this week my mgr dodged the question on SL/GSL reorg changes .. didn’t deny impact just said discussions in progress no updates

The reason of reorganization is taking time is due to the fact that consolidation of Squad and Chaper roles across all business units, not just Wealth and Brokerage. Like Workspace investments and institutional associates were unaffected by changes in the business model evolution, but this time sr. leaders are going to do it across the firm.

Corporations don’t run on your feelings . financial outcomes drive decisions . If hiring visa workers makes business sense, they will continue to do it. If you disagree, start your own company and hire who ever you want ..

We have heard several different timelines here over the past six months. However leadership is not ruling out reorg. In all-hands meetings and discussions leadership has indicated that reorganization discussions are ongoing, which naturally leads to speculation based on any signals or updates shared. I wish there was better leadership to understand impact of these statements and untimely memo
Folks who actually know inadvertently or intentionly give out the reorg date which we share here. Although indirectly, folks here do know.

heard date for wealth is on april 13th-15th , other units by may 30
