Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

What was the rationale and logic behind moving to 61% vs 11 days? okay, sneaky way to tack on 3 additional days.

Why is a rationale necessary? Gunjan Kedia, the authority figure, possesses the power to alter regulations according to her discretion. Recently, the duration was adjusted from 11 days to 2 days, as per the Badge Tap system. The forthcoming period will be strictly enforced for 8 hours, excluding breaks for meals and restroom use.

This scenario illustrates the consequences of elevating an individual with a DICTATORIAL mindset, who has a background in M.S. Industrial Administration (Physical Goods/Manufacturing where Success is measured by Sweatshop/Labor) vs. Business Administration/Financial Administration where Success is measured by what employee contributes to the business success.

@a2 Name one study. Seriously. Just link 1 that shows that 61% is optimal. And what “Preponderance of Evidence”? What are your metrics on your “Corridor Communications”? How many have you had in Q1?

And if anything, the micromanagement of this bungled roll out over the years has completely destroyed any semblance of culture. Combine that with a blank corporate “rent a desk” with no personality and you have no culture.

Morale is also the lowest that I have ever seen it here. The Managing Committee however does not care.

@a2 if there are heaps of studies showing the data, why has it never been presented ever in any town hall or announcement when people are repeatedly asking for metrics that show increase in performance from RTO or any studies showing benefits when there is overwhelming evidence that shows the exact opposite. Do you think sticking your fingers in your ears and screaming lalalallala is good leadership. Do you like being demanded to do something with no supporting evidence? Is there any limit to what you would do for the company, or are you just game for it all? No matter how terrible the ask is? Did you grow up licking boots or was it an acquired taste? What do you do to wipe the brown of your nose? (Do you clock out when wiping it off, since you aren't working and at your desk, it shouldn't count towards your work hours)? Any wipes or tips you can recommend to turning into a pathetic sycophant, or does it come naturally to you?

Lots of studies and the preponderance of the data clearly demonstrates that 61% is ideal for cross-functional collaboration, spontaneous corridor communication, strengthening corporate culture, and employee morale.
