Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Just waiting..

In office just waiting for the hammer to come down. Not great vibes today. I know alot of people missed the mark from door badges to just not coming in. Morale is extra low today.

So why aren't any of you blowing the whistle?
Why aren't you yourselves alerting the media/independent journalists, etc.

Don't wait around for "someone" to do it for you, D.I.Y.!

@af it actually won’t be. With Best Buy (and other major banks) also offshoring it’s not something people get hyped up about.
I am in MN. When Target dropped its DEI policies and protests happened here in MN, it was on the news and helped spread that nationally and why you saw the big hit they took on reputation and stock.
We need employees to take a stand. We need something locally that the news will latch onto and eventually the nation pays attention to.

@a1 someone in Minneapolis needs to send the press releases from Indian about the GCCs to a major Minneapolis news source. That'll be a fun publicity nightmare for them to manage.

As someone not in Minnesota, I'm curious about how everything is going there.

Oh it’s not good! The rumors are swirling. The whispers. The frustration. We need the Minneapolis workforce to do something. With USB being one of the largest companies there, the news will often report happenings with those companies. This morale, the blind performance measures, the forced needs improvement. If it gets on the news there, it has a chance of getting noticed nationwide and causing a reputational risk we need.
