Classic orange badge gatekeeping culture at HP. You want to participate in a company event? No orange badges allowed. You want to see what’s going on with the company? No orange badges allowed. You want a free cookie in the cafeteria? No orange badges allowed. You want to be treated equally as your FTE cohorts? No orange badges allowed.

If HP employees went on strike, all the CW's would be holding up the fort just fine. There are more CW's in some departments anyway. All of production is CW's.

The only reason there are CW's is not about cost, it is about head count. Letting CW's go does not count against HP as a layoff. That looks good to shareholders. It is all about misleading the shareholders.

With the current headcount reductions taking place I’m sure HP would be more than happy to give you all the time you want to strike, plus more.
