The whole idea of having a real career at Wells Fargo pretty much disappeared around the turn of the millennium. Nothing’s changed since then.

@OP
Wells Fargo careers died with Shart.
I hope his strip mall storage facility is full of karma
@d8
It's not the fault of team members getting bounced around, it's the cr***y management that get's hired and immediately reorg's their dept's.
Good on you that your job doesn't have to experience it.
Signed,
A reorged into a role not suited for me person with no hope of moving out unless I move to the other side of the world.
I was hired under stumpf and had pretty good career and salary progression from P1 to P3, it wasn't until Charlie and the post-pandemic era that the company turned to utter sh-t
@d8 Applied for 6, last was a reorg where I was scheduled for a package and a team with a need asked for me. Yeah, I'm obviously a terrible employee.
@ @a5+1knq89b0w.... 7 roles.... you must really su-k for managers to bounce you around like that.
100% changed with Charlie. First cell phones got taken away, then p-card, remote and after that pushed into work that felt like I was just starting over after 30 yrs, bonus removed and kicked to the curb.
Much of corporate risk had ‘does not meet’ evaluations so they can rightfully fire them. I hope everyone left works as slow as they can.
No, it hasn't been decades. It happened when Charlie came on board or more specifically late Covid. Or maybe we should blame Stumpf and Tollstedt for setting up pins.
Can’t have promotion opportunities when they fill in higher ups with their outside friends rather than years of experienced hard working team members. I gave up wanting to put in for promotions when I saw how stressed out my next line up is, logging in on vacation, long hours, being demeaned. No thank you
Yet, I got hired before the turn of the century and I'm still here. I'm in my 7th role, so far.
