Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

nike is gently creeping down to $30 land

I have been studying this stock (long term investor here) and I can see that it has absolutely NO support.
On a day that market is flat it is down 3 percent. That is not good.
That means that nobody gives sh-t about this stock today and it has been true in
recent days.
This NKE stock is reminiscent of UA stock. After being hot for a while, UA had lonely and slow death.
Unless EH and the management can turn this ship, the ultimate destination is in the teens in my opinion.

I have a great idea! let Nike buy UA and give Converse treatment. That is great way to ki-l your competition!! LOL

Here is a simple way to decide when it might be time to start buying Nike stock.

Open your browser and go to nike.com. Look at the latest drops. Scroll for a few seconds and take in how much “new” product you actually see.

If it is still mostly retros, that tells you something. It suggests the company is leaning on the past because it is not especially confident in what it has created lately.

Now shift your attention to the clothing and accessories. Ask yourself one question.

Would I be surprised if I saw this at Marshalls or Burlington Coat Factory?

If the answer is no, then you have your answer.

You and I have a different definition of gentle.

This is an embarrassing and near unprecedented collapse. The only thing preventing a hostile takeover at this point is Swoosh LLC controlling 90% of the vote.

We’ll see thousands more let go as a result. Buckle up, this is not going to be gentle.
