Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Layoff updates

Does anyone have any updates from all CECs? Are we just waiting ducks? Or did we assume to soon about this week’s layoffs??

I am so confused about this week and how it will go. It’s sad that a company has everyone thinking the worse with just small changes. Smh

@g4 Doesn't seem to be happening. Crazy that they're cutting so many groups that actually make the company money but not the care "experts" ROFL

@dx Relay (Austin Accessibility) had just signed a new contract with the state of Tennessee, and there were several other active contracts with many more states. A plethora of overtime was proof that there was plenty of need for this service. These points lulled Relay into a false sense of security. But with just a 12 minute all-inclusive meeting, the entire office joined the ranks of the unemployed.

Chattanooga and Denver: completely cut, whole CECs done
Irving: Director moved down to Sr Manager, 2 BTEX coaches, 2 GOV/ENT coaches, I believe 4 SMB Coaches all cut, not sure on exacts
Vegas: bunch of coaches cut and movement in general, not sure on exacts

I am from Chattanooga office and this is just what I have heard since being cut myself.

@f6 that’s what I was thinking. I would have been shocked if they let go of the consumer side to.

@dy chattanooga is a split site with consumer. Only TFB was let go. Consumer is staying.

@eh that’s what I was trying to clarify. If it was just certain parts of the CEC or the whole CEC including customer service side

@a3 Normal course of action is for non-manager layoffs to be done on Tuesday and Manager/Director Layoffs on Wednesdays.

@a4 my understanding is that all AEs are set now. This is more for the care side now. Smb, ent are getting merged together meaning it will be over head count. Alot might move over to btex
