I'm at the point where I'm dreading each Monday because I'm not sure what they'll drop on us. Will it be layoffs, loss in benefits, or whatever else they can think of to make our lives more miserable. God, I hate this place.

It's never at the start of the month, always towards the end.
There are a couple of posts below with information about seeing your doctor to discuss how you are feeling to possibly establish a Leave of Absence (LOA) under the Family Leave Medical Act (FMLA). This applies to employees in the US. Don't risk you health, mental or physical for these clowns. FMLA gives you twelve weeks of protected leave. This is not advice. This might give some time to take of yourself, rest and look for another job.
