Can someone explain what they do? My friend applied for the “Branch Manager” program and said they would be working with a Market Leader. I always thought Branch Managers were Licensed Bankers,Tellers or Private Bankers that got promoted within the branch. They are now training them for months?

I think you are confusing Bank Branch Managers with CRG Branch Managers. One is a typical Branch (store in the old days) that’s in a town, city on the street corner etc. The other is a wire house type Branch. Any way a Market Leaders are on the WIM side not he bank side

Market Leaders recruit, recruit and recruit. Get those assets baby. If you dont recruit then you are out the door.

Why don't you go and ask an actual branch manager instead of polluting this layoff board with your non layoff thought bubbles?
Yes all new branch managers have to go thru a training program before they officially are assigned their branch.
