Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Tmo vs oracle method

Would you rather a mass email letting you know you’re laid off, or a scripted meeting from your manager or director? I honestly rather have an email at this point. Cold blooded either way, but much less awkward IMO.

Just tell us already This was wrong to know who is being layed off but stressing us out even more over a holiday weekend.

Really wont matter. Either way would be the happiest day ever. I would love to be laid off the day before I tell them I am retiring

Wouldn't matter to me. I just wish they would let me know how they came to the decision - but I know they won't. I've seen layoffs ruin people's lives.

Email. Giving us that weird scripted email and now we know something is for sure happening, but sometime next week. Great way to start easter weekend.

I would prefer a game show style face off with my director. If I have done more over the last 40 hours to improve the customer experience: I stay and he/she goes to the unemployment line.
