Anyone aware of someone successful in negotiating severance pay. 3 weeks pay for 3 years is ridiculous.

What leverage do you have to negotiate? To negotiate, you have to have something to offer the other person wants.
Sadly it won't work. I tried when I was laid off earlier this year and was 8 business days away from another 2 weeks of severance...I even offered to do temporary projects to bridge the gap. Was told it's a hard/solid rule by employee relations.
@nc I made a mistake and was thinking about the VSRP. 3 weeks is correct.
@gk not according to the severance agreement that was sent to me. They are offering 3 weeks only.
It's actually 7 weeks.
