Literally thousands of people worldwide have had their lives upended in the past few weeks because of the decisions made by Oracle yet their seems to be an endless flow of really insensitive and offensive comments being posted. Oracle's actions speak to the character of the corporation but the callous behavior of some of the anonymous comments really speaks to the dismal state of society... what is worse is that this isn't even close to the the most atrocious things that are happening to people on this planet... we are in trouble!

It’s because everything, everywhere has gone to 5h1t and people are angry and frustrated. They’re angry and frustrated with the elite who call the shots because they are making decisions without regard to the greater good but according to their selfish desires.
I’m not excusing the behavior, just trying to explain it.

@a9 This layoff had NOTHING to do with performance. Zero. Literally the best, hardest working, most knowledgeable people got laid off.
Seems like the contract us Soon to be ex employees was” you get paid for doing a job”. If you’re no longer doing that job you become expendable and shouldn’t get paid. Makes sense to me and AC. Good luck
I totally agree. It pi---s me off to see people being so nasty and bullying poor people who come here to find information or ask genuine questions about the layoffs. Why mock and harass people when they are down. It’s blatant cruelty.
