More layoffs at end of March 2026 after a previous round earlier this year. After being told no more layoffs, thee were apparently still more needed. Approximately 35-40 invited to a conference call and let go effective same day, and many with substantial years of service. I do know of at least 1 other person from another department that was not included in my group, but was laid off, so not really sure just how many were actually laid off company-wide in this round. A reason in the separation paperwork I received was that the company was going to be moving more work offshore - assuming to India like the other jobs offshored in the past. Perhaps not everyone's reason, but that's what my paperwork mentioned.

It wouldn't shock me if the massed hiring taking place in the southeast was to build up a buffer to lay off "problem children" in the field.
Not surprised - they have been doing a ''rolling RIF' for the past few years - just under the quantity that legally requires them to post a WARN notice, they don't have to disclose home many in their age range - they are exploiting loopholes like they perfected the game and attempting to mitigate public impression and limit lawsuits but my guess is they are coming in a very memorable way. I think they are trying to look better than they are and continue to pursue the sale that fell through prior to bankruptcy. Thank you new CFO and good luck buddy, you gonna need it because those SLA penalties are significant and one client actually uses it as a revenue stream because it is that reliable that you gonna muck it up. Great company with good people turned into an absolute disaster and an environment I would not work in for 10x the salary.
According to one Branch Service Manager, 200+ positions across the company were eliminated with some given the option to return to the field as technicians. Field techs might not be safe the next round...
They lied to us? Almost too hard to believe...almost.
