Anyone notice that the compensation bands have been removed from the internal site? When asked, HR stated that the information has been removed for undisclosed reasons. Thoughts? Theories?

It’s their way of indirectly confirming their poor pay structure unless you’re an executive.
@a5 : I don't have any theories but here's a tangent thought: a friend told me their employer recently adjusted compensation enterprise-wide to meet market standards. I forget the term -- something about competition and industry standards? Anyway, when someone noticed the missing compensation info and addressed it, my friend's HR readily disclosed that they were reevaluating to keep up with their competitors. In the end, my friend got a nice pay bump. If PNC is doing the same (which would be nice, but I'm not holding my breath) why not say so?
I recently resigned over compensation issues despite being a solid employee. They don’t want people to know how badly they are being sc--wed over. Remember everyone, you are allowed to discuss your compensation with your coworkers. Don’t let any manager tell you otherwise.
@OP noticed that as well, and it's pretty sh---y actually. I really enjoyed the openness regarding the comp at different levels and now it's gone. Prob because they won't be adjusting pay
@OP that is odd they would do that after the comp reviews, instead of before. Do you think people were not getting what they deserved based on their TSRs?
