Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Wonder if they are going to do the survey this year

Aren’t we around the time of year when they roll out the survey? After last year’s debacle it doesn’t look like it’s happening.

You will know when the survey is about to be released. AT&T will start its major internal media propaganda blitz telling us about all these services we have available to us that I hope to never use.

I refuse to participate in those ridiculous waste of time surveys anymore.

And culture at AT&T? What a joke!

“Some brown noses are here telling you not to do the survey, so the result won’t be that bad.”

I can’t tell if you’re really that dim or if you’re just trolling.

Anyway- the most “bad” survey result is simply not taking the survey. Full stop.

Your words, and feedback, and scores in the survey don’t mean anything.

They may somehow make you feel like you did something, when in actuality all you have done is bolster their participation rate. Which in fact is the only metric that they care about.

So I’m far from a brown noser. If you want to get their attention, do not participate.

“ Will do a honest review to make the crybaby cry again“

You are looking at this the wrong way.

Nothing will upset him more than super low participation.

I'm still patiently waiting for the feedback from the teams that were formed around 2015ish to deal with the outcome of the results from THAT survey. 'Oh we formed some Working Groups around the Employee Feedback, and you'll be seeing those results soon!'

Still waiting.

The only thing that bugs them is when you don’t do the surveys. They don’t care if you hate your job, but for some reason ambivalence bothers them. If you decide to ki-l them on the surveys, remember that they are not anonymous.

We listen to your feedback yada yada yada… here's your free mental health check up LOL. I am not answering any surveys this year, and forever. I will never forget the arrogant reply of that bald tu-d last year, and I will not be insulted again. I will milk this company until I get laid off.

“ And they absolutely are not anonymous.“

Let’s not start the anonymous v not debate again. It’s pointless and moot.

The point is don’t take the survey.

Low engagement is the only thing that will send a message.

You provided honest feedback last year and were chastised and scolded for it by Stankey.

Don’t do it again.

If there is a survey, and you choose to take it, remember that no good deed goes unpunished. Use the Stank’s prior survey results “sm--k-down” message as a blaring example of how they value feedback.

It will happen. Was June last year.

Don’t take it.

@cs Yup, we responded to people hating RTO by doubling down on wasting money on new offices no one other than the execs want among other things.

No surveys are needed. If conditions get too bad employees would leave.

“ we listened to your feedback in the survey and added x, y, z…l”

Yup too funny.

If you want to see an impressive metric, note the blazing speed at which I delete emails with “…you asked, we’re delivering” in the subject line.

This will be the first year I choose not to respond to the survey.

If the survey participation falls below 50% the results are invalidated. Everyone needs to ignore the survey entirely and DO NOT take it. This is the only voice we have left.

Never again!!
They clearly ignored employee feedback over the last 3 or 4 of these.
All while chastising us for what we stated. However reaching 77%, or whatever it was, response rate made them happy.
So response rate needs to DROP drastically clearly.

I'm not doing it after a SVP said he'd disregard the results.

I think it’s funny how they keep trying to push “we listened to your feedback in the survey and added x, y, z” when they literally disregarded the ONLY thing people actually care about in RTO. The rest is all useless fluff and junk no one uses. More wasted money.

They seem to send me "this is targeted email" surveys throughout the year now. Usually some of the same questions so probably trying to figure out what to include that doesn't give the most negative answers.

Very much looking forward to not doing it for the first time ever, and encouraging everyone to do the same.

If you do the survey, they win. What you say in it matters not.

Don’t give them the win.
