Communications, techs and network center techs just got involuntary surplus in Houston about two weeks ago. Follow the work or find another job just waiting around for VSP!
I know you would like to try and recoup some small portion of the money you’ve wasted on union dues all these years, but you never will. There will be no offer and even if there was you still wouldn’t come out on top. Please stop fantasizing. There is no package. The company will fire you or work you to death before you get a dollar.
District 6 southwest I and R just got offered 50k to leave, several in my garage accepted!

Talks to move majority of I&m into construction to complete fiber build out . They want to reduce overtime in construction and repurpose i&m techs. No packages anytime soon in SE.
@OP Why would they offer a buyout. Company has more WTs than any other title. The Core techs are about to get sc--wed with the next contract. It has been a long time coming. I’m a 21 year Service Tech and know the end is near.
