In the so called survivor meeting, they claim Cognizant is excellent partner (which is a TOTAL JOKE if you know what WITCH companies are). And they claim scaling up and down will be easier (scaling up is hard, scaling down is easy). They can fire ones easily by bench policy etc. Please, prepare for other plans. You deserve much better.

What a joke! I worked for a company that outsourced IT functions to Cognizant 5 years ago. Last year that company contacted the consultancy i work for now to do some project work. Guess that Digital Transformation didn't work out the way they hoped.
It is their job to manage staffing to match the work. It is an essential part of their job. They cannot perform this critical task, so the employees suffer instability (the best word available, apologies). It is their job to acquire new business to support existing staff and grow the business to hire more staff. They don't want that responsibility. Look at the ginormous Franklin Templeton fu-k up. Wondering how much that tidal wave of failure is to blame for the current situation.
