Kari leaving the company, but will remain through end of May to support Nicole.
How do you all feel about Nicole becoming the new CHRO?

@16a Gone, along with DC and other members of his tribe. Kari's departure is not voluntary. She couldn't function without DC guiding her, therefore she would not provide any worth to the company when he is gone.
What happened to Kari? Why is she leaving? I didn't get an announcement about this.
@bc uh no. They did the same thing in 2008 by using Obama to show that they "care" about diversity while also destroying the American middle class and American minority tech workers and displacing them with H1Bs they had to train to get their severance (or else lose their homes). The myth at the time was that they were too d-mb or unqualified so they "had" to import "smart" people from degree mills in India that their government subsidizes for free.
Same thing happening in 2026 but with offshoring veiled as "AI".
@qg You sound like a very angry, uninformed person. @mc asked a very valid question - DOGE “reduced 10%” of what exactly? Based on analysis of DOGE's activities, the actual savings achieved represent a tiny fraction of one percent of total federal spending. Certainly nowhere even close to 10%.
DOGE initially claimed it would achieve trillions of dollars in cuts, but multiple independent analyses found that actual savings were vastly lower than claimed. Verifiable savings from contract cancellations were between $1.4 billion to $4 billion - far below the claimed $50+ billion or $160+ billion figures often falsely cited by DOGE. It’s sad that you fell for the total b.s. peddled by a creepy, lying billionaire because it aligns with your political agenda.
Over the past year federal spending has INCREASED nearly $200 billion vs. the same period in the previous year. The US national debt is now $39 trillion, the highest in history. Tell me about that awesome “government efficiency”under this administration again?
@qg Are you really that ret&rded? I guess you have no issue getting in the hamster wheel every day to fund more yachts for billionaires, billions in corporate government welfare and pointless wars that will raise prices on everything for all of us. Good luck loser.
@mc Are you really that stupid? I guess you have no issue getting in the hamster wheel every day to fund illegals, ebt grifters and government studies for why butterflies don’t like your flower gardens. Good luck loser.
@jw They reduced 10% of what?
@jw DOGE depositions show that they are losers who really are not that bright.
@cb they fired grifters. It was reduced 10% by DOGE. Sorry you felt studying gorilla s-x habits was a critical job. Maybe they’d be better off running Somalia daycares.
@ab yall realize the Na-is had a job to do, right?! They did it as instructed…
That’s you’re justification
@bc Kari was just a lackey Cordani put in place to execute his plan to force people back into the office. She added less than zero value. Agree that Nicole is probably better but she is also a Cordani disciple so keep that in mind.
I also agree that the people who cry about DEI are typically losers who want someone else to blame for their lack of success. The truth that’s coming out about the DOGE debacle is pretty horrifying. I had some hope for it initially but the worst, most clueless, incompetent people were allowed to run wild and destroy programs and fire competent people without any real justification and ultimately saved just under $2 billion when they initially claimed they would cut $2 TRILLION in federal spending. What an embarrassing clusterf*ck.
I'll take Nicole over Kari anyday. At least she will have empathy as to how offshoring affects mostly minority American workers.
And stfu with the DEI debate. Even the DOGE depositions showed that those clowns don't really know what DEI is and they are talentless clowns.
What was the announcement? I’m not sure we got it over here in EviCore. Unless I missed it.
Either DC is trying to plant his own pup before leaving for consolidation or this is a demotion - why is there a need to have a lawyer HR unless we're expecting a lot of wrongful term or retaliation risks, hence risk mitigation prep. This is not a traditional HR focused on employee relations, culture, talent, etc. but rather risk avoidance and legal compliance on the horizon. Either way nothing good comes out of this.
On one hand - good riddance to bad rubbish. On the other hand - the new regime isn't going to be any better for us worker bees.
Another lawyer being put in charge of HR. Tells you everything you need to know Same sh*t different day.
Less Kari more Nicole. Sum zero game.
Y’all realize Kari had a job to do, right?!
She did it as instructed… if she can be removed NONE of us are safe.
Same sh-t different day. Nothing is going to change.
I hope Nicole can maintain in the role of awkward laughing about football during a town hall. Kari is leaving some big shoes to fill in that capacity.
