A coworker tried to one-up me for being tired after four days because they grind six days straight. That's such a weird flex. Cool, you give all your time to State Farm and have no free time and I do. I'll take my energy and my weekend over whatever that competition is supposed to prove.

A very long time ago in a previous position (not at State Farm) but Fortune 50 top level -
- Upper level Management dictated a 10-on, 4-off schedule for the entire department; 24x7.
This included everyone (including local management).
They offered free lunch if you only took 30 minutes, and you could eat at your desk.
Didn't say it was a very good idea.
People have different ways of working. I know some that do it on weekends, some don't. Its not a competition for me if they're doing things by themselves.
The big red flag is if you need constant meetings to make progress on tasks
