@aq @aa While layoffs su-k, they are laying off 20,000-30,000 according to some reporting. That being said, they are also reassessing job openings, which will account for a portion of the number. In a company of 160,000 employees, while it does su-k, not every group is going to lose everybody. I was laid off in August after surviving all other layoffs for decades. Now, I'm back into a job again. It's rough out there but it isn't impossible.

This is @aa. I just got this job after another lay off…I am struggling with anxiety and depression now and it’s just hard to accept it. I’m going to apply for jobs again…. I hope they give severance package at least.

OP - Unless you are an O veteran of many years hoping for a big severance check you might want to start looking for a new job ASAP.

@aa wake up, it's 2026, nothing you do as a peon in corporate matters..

  • new hire still onboarding
  • 25 yr old veteran with patents
  • new mom on FMLA
  • the office slacker
  • the turbo producer

sooner or later we all get the same axe..

I am a new hire and just joined one month ago. Did they lay off new hire in previous rounds?

same boat. Let's just get it over with already. My manager has largely stopped assigning me work and looping me into project discussions. I feel like it's pretty clear for me. Then why am I still logging in everyday.
