@hj They're not doubters, they are here to create confusion and spred lies.
Sales will be in April after quarter end.
Thank you so much to the folks who gave us the heads up. Layoff is always so reliable. For the doubters, why are you here in the first place ?
Nearly 450 people laid off today from OT since this morning US time. Most from the CDO/CIO org.
@f4 yeah it's very small. If anything
@OP looks like 0%
im here for 9 months. did not get any email yet but i can receive too..anytime..
@c8 vouch
OT normally works on a bell curve, even a decent performance review should get a merit increase. Seniors, leads, etc - even as non managers still get them. Budgets are approved above your managers though, some do it PB style and some have different increases for performance. Varies but it's normally there.
If your team doesn't it could be them, chronic lack if budget, or your region. Either way good sign to leave.
@c5 decision is made mate, even if layoffs are happening tomorrow
@c7 not true
@br bonus? we don't get any bonuses. Probably you are a manager. I think only managers and above get bonuses
@bm exactly the numbers i have seen put it just under 1000.
@c4 how do you know it's 10% in your country ? Nothing has happened yet
I cant tell globally but in my country is 10%, so likely is 10% globally too
@bs layoff speculation
@br annual bonus ?
Regardless, this is only the first of several rounds. Some people will be informed but asked to stay until Q4 is over..(they will leave the first week of July) and be eligible for the annual bonus.
I 'separated' from OT the first week of July (so thankfully received the bonus).
There were many folks let go in Q4 who were then not eligible for the bonus.
My point is this round (regardless of 5% or 20%) is 'round one'.
Please prepare ..get your finances in order, and if you are strapped ..stop contributing to the OT 401K (horrible plans anyway). That way you will not have those deductions taken from your severance checks..it may help for those who are financially strapped.
The reality is..OT is far from finished..this is the only thing they know how to do is lay people off..
@bj no it's not closer to 20%. It's less than 1000 so around 3-4%
More like 20%
