VA has zero understanding of technology or operations. Most of what he says are just polished filler phrases he’s relied on for years, rather than real substance. Someone please end this misery.

When the f$k is EH going to stop promoting every midwit like VA and CS straight into the C-suite like it's some kind of desperate meritocracy? Jesus Christ, the recycling bin is overflowing with these recycled director-level hacks who couldn't run a lemonade stand, yet suddenly they're calling shots at the highest level.

This site is filled with people who could run Nike better, but unfortunately through external circumstances that have nothing to do with them or their work ethic, find themselves complaining. Is he hanging out with JM and SBS in Resilience? They are adding new silos to create fake work for our teams to justify the need for SBS. I would say they are both pretty comfy (together). Some might say too comfy. IYKYK
@a6 80% of Leadership at Nike is being an expert at getting through tough convos with buzzwords and deflection. Just enough to buy you some space to go back to doing nothing. The other 20% is learning how to eliminate threats to your comfy situation. Anyone driving accountability or working to break down silos to deliver value to the business must be isolated and managed out.
