@bk that makes sense. I see a lot of down votes on facts and hard truths. I would bet that most of the sheople on this site haven't made any changes to their lives in preparation for the inevitable. However, since the high end of the projections look like a 20% reduction than 80% of them were right.
Karma doesn't exist. Thats another fairy tale for children and rubes to think the world is fair so they don't have to stand up for themselves.

Don't bet on it.
There is no concrete info at this time. Because the actual decision is made within a small group of selected HR and SVP/EVP level. Most managers know nothing except a ranked list of their people is submitted by them and layoff is coming.
OP, do you really see yourself as above average people? Your tone is that you are the adult that has joined the conversation and I will bring order.
btw, I think you meant to say misinformation or disinformation and yes, there is a difference.
In general, most people are trying to share what they know. The problem is that not much is known for sure.
