Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

SEC?

did SEC go through a restructure this week, thought I saw that somewhere here, and that SEC biz is next week

is that true and if so were a lot of people let go?

trying to gauge size of this thing for upcoming weeks, seems many are freaked out, also completely in the dark, and it's causing all sorts of strange behavior

guess we're supposed to just deal with it, tough...

Isn’t SEC Tech only about a dozen people?

There were around a dozen in total, spread around L&D, Finance, and Change. Converse was the real victim, they've had about 50 this week

SEC Business lost around 5 people, some of which were offered new roles but declined. Others accepted lower band roles to stay at Nike. That being said I think there was only around 20 of them left, most had already moved on to a new role. SEC Tech is later, probably with the rest of Tech.
