I am honestly asking on what the current employees (lucky ones!) think of the BNY AI "baby" - is it really useful in your daily job?
Is the agent doing all boring taks and you just supervise the agent as was imagined originally ;)?

She has more job security than any of us I know that!
I'm trying to use all our AI tools as best I can. I do use Eliza for simple queries and rewording emails etc... from time to time. I even created an Agent by uploading documents about one of my projects. I also understand that for developers, Windsurf is very powerful. I'm trying to learn more about how to use it, but I'm very new to "coding", so it's gonna be challenging for me for a while. Still though, I can see its potential.
It works almost as well as Wove.
@b1 Windsurf is an AI tool linked to programming tools such as IntelliJ and Visual Studio. You can ask questions about your code, check for errors, optimize existing code, and generate new code.
You still need to know how to ask the right questions and be able to validate the output, but it works. I had one task that would have taken at least a day for me to research and implement - Windsurf did it in less than a minute, and the solution worked.
@bx why are you using Eliza to google? There’s your first problem. Second, Eliza’s strength is connecting to other BNY systems. The answers will include references to policies, people team processes, data sources, etc ( other agents). If your goal is to search the internet then keep googling or use Claude/ Windsurf
Anytime i ask a question it says it cannot help me.
Is it just me or is Eliza really slow? Eliza seems to take several minutes to answer a question whereas I’ll ask the same question in Google and I have an answer (usually better than Eliza’s) in fractions of a second.
It's a POS. Does that answer your question?
AI helps us (me) 0.0 at my job. It is worthless and meaningless. No one embraces it or uses it.
@an what is windsurf?
I don't have any use for Eliza, but I use Windsurf all the time, and it has saved me a lot of time over the past few months.
The only time I used Eliza this year was to answer all the questions about Eliza in the AI training modules we have to finish by the end of March.
Honestly it’s ok for your personal tasks but it’s a pain to take stuff to production which is where the real value is…Eliza is just a wrapper with plugins on frontier models,we can do crazy things with Claude code access for personal use..it’s marketing gimmick to attract more clients which RV himself agreed to..windsurf is a good deal where we are seeing real value,Eliza not so much
